We offer a wide range of courses for you to choose from. From complete beginner courses to advanced courses for those wanting to up their game even more!

Beginner Course

R7 000 / Once Off 12 Week Course 3 Hours Once Per Week

This beginner-friendly course is designed to guide you through every step of learning the art of sewing. From taking accurate measurements and drawing up patterns to placing them on fabric and sewing them together, we cover it all. Over the course, you'll gain hands-on experience by creating your own shirt, pants, and pencil skirt, giving you the skills and confidence to continue your sewing journey.

What You Need To Bring

→Bring your own material (we will tell you what to buy in the free demo)
→Your own machine — or use one of our 2 machines (we will let you know in the free demo)
→Your stationery: pencil, tape measure, eraser, pins, fabric and paper scissors (we will tell you in the free demo)

How It Works

Week 1

We show you how to take measurements and draw the pattern to your own size. We will give you some homework on drawing patterns for the following week.

Week 2

We will look at the pattern drawings you did at home and answer any questions you have. We will then put down the pattern on the material, cut out and sew borders, and do custom fitting to create a master pattern.

Week 3

This week we will start a pair of trousers / pants. This will include drawing the pattern on paper, transferring it to material and cutting it out.

Week 4

We will finish sewing the trousers / pants together, do the final fitting to your size and do any customization needed.

Week 5

Let's design and create a pencil skirt this week. This includes creating the skirt pattern, transferring and cutting out the pattern, to sewing it together and doing the final fit and customization.

Week 6

Now that you've got the basics down, we will start working on your own unique style and customize the clothes we have made so far. We will also give you some more homework to start designing your own clothes that you want help with over the next couple of weeks.

7–12

Weeks 7 – 12

Let your inner seamstress out! You will create your very own designs and find your style under our expert guidance and assistance. We'll help you with any further questions or problems you have!

Lingerie Course

R3 500 / Once Off 4 Week Course 9am – 4pm Once Per Week

This course is designed to guide you through every step of making women's bras and lingerie. From taking accurate measurements and drafting patterns to cutting fabric, assembling, and adding finishing touches, we cover it all. Throughout the course, you'll gain hands-on experience by creating two wired and two wireless bras, as well as additional lingerie pieces, giving you the skills and confidence to continue your lingerie-making journey.

What You Need To Bring

How It Works

Week 1

We show you how to take measurements and draw the pattern to your own size. We will also sew half the bra and give you the other half as homework to try sew yourself.

Week 2

We will have a look at the other half of the bra you finished from the previous week. Start designing and tracing the second bra more to your customizations. You will also finish the other half at home.

Week 3

This week we will start learning how to make a wireless bra — taking your measurements, teaching you how to draw the pattern and sewing half of it.

Week 4

This week we will make the other wireless bra more to your customization, as well as reflecting on the course so far and answering any questions or confusion you might have. By the end of today you will have 2 x wire bras and 2 x wireless bras, with the knowledge on how to make more for you or anyone else!

Please Note:

We do ask that you bring your own machine with you. However, if you do not have a sewing machine yet, please contact us for assistance to try make a plan for you. If you are in the market for a new machine we will gladly guide you on what's the best model to get for your budget. We DO NOT recommend Empisal machines — they do not work with Lycra and will only give you problems. We HIGHLY suggest looking at the Janome brand.
